Poros

Sunday 4^th October, 2015.

We are still in Poros as it is one of our favourite places.  We had several nights on anchor as the wind was force 5 most of the time but came into the pontoon yesterday in order for Jim to polish the port side. It rained very hard for several hours and we now know the storm we had trekked north to Sardinia and the south of France leaving many people dead.  The weather is now beautiful and the cold wind has disappeared and left us enjoying the warm sunshine and warm evenings.  The number of yachts coming and going does not seem to be decreasing which must be good for the Greek problems.

We have seen quite a few kingfishers gliding  across the water.

The scenery, ice cream shop, restaurants and butcher’s has everything we enjoy. Fingers crossed this weather will continue until next weekend!
