Thursday 1st October, 2020.

Jim loves Ermioni for the Thursday market and all the fresh fish, vegetables and fruit. There is such an array of stalls from the local usually an elderly person who sales a few carrots, potatoes basically anything they have harvested that day and when it is gone they go home.

We spotted the stall from the local farm near the boat yard selling their own honey.  We learnt a lot as Jim was saying not too good for diabetics but apparently if you have honey made from trees there is not a problem. We did buy some of course and it is delicious.

More garlic prawns for lunch today!!!!

We sailed most of the way as it was hot and sunny day with a  gentle breeze.  It took us 3 hours 20 minutes to sail the 14.61 miles to Porto Heli where we anchored in the far corner in three to six metres.

Brian and Mari came for drinks and then we made our way in Brian’s dinghy to the shore and had a super meal overlooking the marina.
