We woke up with grey skies and a few rumbles in the mountains. Jim did a few chores and suddenly he said I think we are leaving now. We motor sailed to Kilada but we could lots of fast moving clouds over Porto Heli but it missed us out at sea. Our friends left in Porto Heli sent us photos of them not seeing anything out of their boat. They said the wind blew and for a few minutes they couldn’t see anything.
Very luckily as we neared the channel into Kilada Jim spotted a black seal the first we had seen since we were in the Thessaloniki area. Jim reported the seal to the correct authority on their website.
We found our usual spot near the yard and had lunch. A few spots of rain came our way but nothing to even pull the hood up.
We are here to be able to drive to Athens airport tomorrow to pick up Poppy.
