We left the pontoon after I got some fresh b read and we breakfasted on the way.  Once we were out of the Poros channel and could see Aegina in the distance we had both sails up rocking and rolling.  It was not long before the wind kicked in and we were reefing the main and rolling the genny.   The day was sunny and the clouds miles away in the distance.  Once we cleared the mountains of Methane the wind dropped slightly and we managed to sail until we were opposite the small island off of Aegina and we had to roll the genny and drop the main.

Jim had timed our arrival perfectly and as we turned into the harbour there was a perfect space just for us.  We lunched and swam later when the sun was not so hot.  We had a good meal with Victor and Karoline on the harbour front.

Wednesday 17th September, 2014.

Jim bought and cooked beautiful sized prawns for our lunch which we had with delicious bread from the bakery and olive oil from our friends Chris and Katherine Wicks own olives.  A fabulous lunch before our friends had to walk a hundred yards to the ferry.  Aegina is a great place for friends to come to as the ferry service is so close.  Hopefully we will see Vic and Karoline back in the Argo-Saronic islands before too long.
