Wednesday 11th May, 2022.

The day started for Jim checking the propeller as when we came out of Kilada yesterday there was a slowing of the engine and so he went for a quick dip and he came up with a black bag fish 🐠. Temperature was 20 degrees a bit warmer than Bournemouth.

We did last night catch a glimpse of the Port Heli turtle but it was quick to dive.
We had a great display of boating from a huge Romanian flotilla of 30 yachts and catamarans who had rafted together in the bay at Porto Heli last night. They circled and circled until the last boat was ready to go and the whole group single filed out of the bay. They seem to separate and go their own ways and we haven’t seen them since.

We had hoped to sail to Erimoni which is only 13 miles but we had to give up several times and put the engine on. Sails out, sails in. The beautiful sunshine was very warm today and we anchored in the north bay of the port.
Tomorrow we have permission to pull along side the quay for the new radio to be fitted.
