Poros

26th to 28th September, 2020.

Saturday 26th there was loads of wind but we were safely on the quay.  Jim cooked fresh prawns from the fish market for Brian and Mari’s lunch.  After a read of our books we went for a swim at the beach.  Not many people here but one bar was open.  We had a nice meal at one of the restaurants.

Sunday 27th was the same with more wind so we had a walk and stayed put on the quay.  Brian and Mari had to come for lunch to have cold prawns and salad.  Jim over ordered at the fish market.  There was nowhere to go as the wind was being quite unkind.  We went for another swim at the beach but it wasn’t so enjoyable as the water temperature seem to have dropped.

Monday 28th was not giving us any hope of going anywhereas the forecast was rain and storms over Poros.

Nothing happened and we didn’t see any rain.  We walked, had coffee at the little cafe we like, read and talked to our friends.  Jim found a few boats he knew and generally chatted to them on the pontoon. It was a lazy day but we are on holiday and with Covid and Brexit to talk about perhaps a little depressing but with the beautiful scenery we are so lucky and we know it.
