Monday 24th September, 2018.
We awake to a helicopter buzzing and buzzing nearby. It was mosquito spraying all along the shore by the town. We had breakfast and swam as the water is so very warm and then we were off to Aigina due to the weather forecast of the north winds. Jim will not risk Ariel so he wants to be in a harbour with the stern to the quay and the town giving us cover from the north wind.
He also likes to chat so being in a bay for days on end is not fun for him so Aigina offers security for Ariel and lots of people for Jim to chat to.
It wasn’t easy to get a space as quite a few boats were using one and half spaces but after a little persuasion we got a couple to tighten up and we got a place on the wall where we will be staying for a few days.
Now awaiting the new hurricane which is due to hit ustomorrow (Saturday 29th September) called Medicane I believe. The chains have gone on and we will await the worse. It should pass through and hopefully it will not come into the entrance but from behind us.
