Another very foggy day motor sailing along the Northern Spanish coast.  When we left the harbour at Gijon the fog was hanging around outside and soon we were in the thick of it.  Down to the wonders of Raymarine, the radar + chartplotter with the AIS.  ( automatic ship identification system )  And of course our See Me AIS switched on as well for protection.  28.7 miles motor sailed to the safety of a very quaint harbour and small town of Cudillero built into a ravine in the rock cliff.  The narrowest entrance imaginable that seems to have been cut through the rock about 50 - 60 metres wide a real spooky feeling after a foggy passage with vis again down to 20-30 metres at times.

After dinner on board of fresh Hake bought in Gijon it was all into the dinghy and ashore for a climb up through the town of Cudillero.  There was the end of a fiesta day to Saint Peter in full flow with some fireworks and live music, a band playing Mexican style music on a stage in the street.  The whole town is an incredible feat of building and engineering as the houses have been built almost one above or on top of each other cut into the rock cliff face.  The whole town was a labyrinth of narrow alleyways and streets.
