We left Belle Ile and sailed over to La Trinite which is one of the most popular yachting centres in the Bay of Biscay. It has some beautiful sailing areas and although the wind was on the nose and we had to motor we enjoyed the scenery.  While we were sailing along we saw a large sunfish in the water. It appeared as if it was waving to us. Jim tried his fishing skills but he was not to be rewarded. Oh dear no dinner today!!! There does not appear to be the little fishing boats here which we have seen elsewhere.  Perhaps the waters have been fished out.

Another reason Jim wanted to come to La Trinite was the knowledge that the oysters are very good here.  He is going to check out the fish market tomorrow.

We had a long walk along the water front and treated ourselves to some ice-creams to hide from the sun.

In the marina is some very large round the world speed racing yachts with the latest high tech.  Not for me I am for the slow route!
