8th May, 2011.

Sunday morning gave way to a quiet start and the wind could not be heard as loud as the day before.  Time to have a quick breakfast, say a few good byes and be on our way north to the Maddalena islands.  The sail we had hoped for did not happen and we had to motor sail nearly all the way up to the corner of Capo Testa.  At this point we dropped the main and motored along to the little bay of Pozzo for the night. Jim spotted some Shearwaters working the water and out went the fishing rod again just incase one of those fish fancied our fishing line.  Of course no fish again for us so it is a good job I had dinner sorted.

Once we had anchored, had dinner served in the cockpit the wind had stopped altogether and it was a beautiful evening. We went to bed in a beautiful bay without a breath of wind on a very still water. This does not happen too many times in a season!
