After the 46 miles and nearly 7 hours yesterday from Dhespotiko to Amorgos we were going to rest but as we woke up the breeze had got up and the harbour master was asking us to move as the ferry needed more room. As we are on a dead line for Naxos we decided to leave rather than get caught in Amorgos for a few days.
As we travelled back the way we came the day before Ariel hit speeds of 8.15 with wind of 29 mph covering the 36 miles between Amorgos and Naxos.
Again very quiet everywhere on this beautiful sunny Sunny. We were very lucky to get a place on the wall as directed by the harbour master. The next morning the harbour master directed us into an inner harbour spot. Much quieter and the condor although makes the boats leap up and down it is much smoother.
