Friday 27th June, 2014.
We waved Brian and Miri off as they were making their way back to Corfu in the next few weeks and took their space on the quay in order to fill Ariel with diesel before she is lifted in the next few days. After a little shopping and an ice-cream we were off to Ermioni. We managed once around the headland to sail most of the 19.68 miles to the entrance to Ermioni passing Ydra on the way.
We had a swim, dinner and a pleasant evening before the wind started to blow down off the mountains. It was not a very enjoyable night as Jim had to keep checking on Ariel as others seem to be worried and many moved position in the night but we stayed very secure with our anchor. The bounce in the bay was at times quite strong.
In the morning we had several new boats around us having come off the quay as they were bouncing on the wall.
