Saturday 13th July, 2019.

We were very lucky on the Saturday that our French friends and their three grandsons joined us for the trip around the corner to Kilada.

The three boys 13, 10 and 8 were very excited and it was fun to have them on board. We decided to go for a swim at the little bay on the island of Spetses where the water is so clear and a wonderful colour blue.

As soon as we anchored the two oldest and their grandmother jumped in and were off swimming towards the shore.  A beautiful yacht joined us but the clients were as brave are guests and were taken ashore in the jolly boat. We had a beautiful lunch that Patricia had made for us all as the boys are strict vegetarians and therefore not so easy to cater for on a yacht.

The wind got up and it was just right for our last sail to the boat yard. The boys all took turns steering and seem to enjoy their day.

The bay was quite busy but there is always a spot or two. After we anchored our friends sadly left us.

Although it is lovely to Kilada bay it is also a sad time for us both as it means our boat time is coming to end again.
