Friday 28.8.09.47 miles sailed

Another very hot sunny day and motor sailing was the order of the day.  We motored out of La Herradura admiring at close quarters more of the unbelievable villas.  The first waypoint and headland was Point Conception and here the dolphins were busy feeding having their breakfast.  Jim decided to try some more fishing as we motored along.  First he brought in the jaws/remains or a mackerel, had a larger fish grabbed the rest ?  Then he lost a large trolling lure with the line smashed, and third time lucky caught a small dorado.  This when filleted provided a nice dinner in the evening.  At Almerimar we decided to anchor again rather than try to see if a space in the marina was available and go through  the now usual rigmarole of passports, ships papers, insurance etc. etc. We watched the Spanish on the beach until sun down and it got dark before they finally leave the beach and go home about 9.30pm.  Then the disco music started and the very loud volume lasted most of the night.

Not a place to stay so in the morning we sailed on.
