37:22.703N 026:44.136E Arki Island
26th June, 2021.
Brian and Mari have gone south towards Kos and Jim decided we should stay north in order to be able to get back across to our usual sailing area if the weather changed. We decided to revisit Arki as we find it a very beautiful island and very nice people.
We sailed and then motor sailed the 10.43 miles as the wind dropped. We were lucky to get on the quay and in a good position before many boats arrived and every space was taken.
The next few days we had coffees at the bar or ice cream espressos, walked to the famous beaches of Tigthakia which is reported to be the most beautiful in the Dodecanese and the ferry beach. Both are so clear and lovely to swim.
On our last night we had cocktails in the bar and dinner in the restaurant. Both were excellent.
