11th June, 2013.

We motor sailed to Poros covering 19 miles.  We were lucky to see 4 dolphins off the mainland which Alison thought was wonderful.  We found a nice space on the quay and reversed into position.  After lunch Alison, Steve and myself went off to help them discover a little of Poros such as the clock tower overlooking the bay and the shops along the quay area.  We walked out to the little church on the south entrance and watched boats come and go while dripping our feet in the water to help cool ourselves down.

When we got back to the boat Jim was bailing out under the floor.  We have been watching to make sure we don’t any problems with the stern sill leaking but the water had filled all the under floor compartments.  During our stay in Poros we never saw another drop of water.  Jim checked that the work on the binnacles had not knocked off the tube coming in from the transom but it appeared still to be in place.  Now we are back to having to watch the situation hourly.
