After all the excitement of the racing, the party and the morning goodbyes we headed back to Vlikho to have a fixed solar panel fitted to help with the power levels.  During the last few weeks we have been very luck in having lots of very hot weather but it has been mostly still at night and very difficult to sleep.  The solar panel should allow us to run a fan during the night.  Phil supplied the panel, Jim had done the tubing and Phil came along to our boat around 5 o’clock to fit it with Graham wedged in the back locker feeding the wiring through.  Poor chap didn’t finish until around 9 o’clock when it was well and truly pitch black.

Much too late for me to put everything back in the cabin so we left it and made for the taverna just about 200 metres from the boat for dinner!!
