We left Ieraka by 9 o’clock to motor sail up the coast.  All good intentions on being able to sail all the way but the wind was on the nose so we motored the 13.97 miles in beautiful sunshine.  Kiparissi is quite a large bay with the town quay in the centre with the main houses and a few taverna’s.  It is a beautiful village with either white washed walls and blue windows or stone buildings.  It is very quiet and definitely in a time capsule.

A local lady told me that this was the last bay Princess Diana spent time swimming from the yacht she was staying on before she flew to Paris and her fate.  Another super motor yacht Astarte II was enjoying the wonderful scenery yesterday.
