40. Glossa

Tuesday 18^th September, 2018.

As soon as we had had breakfast spaces started to appear on the pontoon so we took up the anchor and made our way over to the pontoon where we stayed one night.

We did a few jobs during the day and took the early bus up to Glossa for dinner.  We strolled to the highest square on Glossa and sat and had dinners taking in the amazing view.  The shops and restaurants are starting to close down for the winter even though we are only in the middle of September.  We ate at the restaurant and were told we could not order anything from the grill section which to us was not a problem. 

We had missed the last bus at 7.45 p.m. so we walked slowly down the road as we couldn’t risk the paths down as there is no lighting.  Mine you the road is verydark as well. It took us an hour or so but with the stars out it was an adventure.
