We swam and read our books and just before 4 p.m. we all went ashore for a walk.  Tricia thought she saw the flash of lightening and we thought it was nothing to worry about although the sun had disappeared and the clouds were forming.  Just as we sat down at the tavern overlooking the boats and bay and the first drinks arrived there was a crack of rumbling thunder.  Two minutes later the heavens opened for about ten minutes.  This is the first rain we have seen since the middle of May.  The boys ran back along the shore to the beach to the dinghies.  In Clive’s haste to get to his boat as all the hatches were open his dinghy flipped over.  He came back up from underneath the upturned dinghy with his glasses still in his polo shirt!  Luckily with the angle of the hatches we missed a wet bed.

It was another quiet night on anchor.
