Sivota, Lefkada.   Thursday, 26th July, 2012.

We had a great sail down the Meganisi channel tacking back and forth until we could see the white waves coming towards us not far from the entrance to Sivota.  There were lots of yachts sailing north.   As it will be changeover day on Saturday perhaps many are making their return to base trip a little earlier as the weather is due to be very windy for another 72 hours.

Once in the bay we quickly put baby Ariel in the water and tied it up at the bow with fenders and lines ready for our stern to requirement onto the quay.  The wind was playing games with everyone and getting onto the quay was fun but we got there with a little help from our neighbours.  Jim is worried as our Delta anchor is not holding and the large power boat next to us doesn’t seem to be holding either.  Who said sailing was stress free and a relaxing sport?

The new anchor is suppose to arrive next week and not to soon for me!
