We left the Capo Testa anchorage around 9 a.m. as the wind was favourable to sail further down the west coast and away from the Cape. We were lucky as we had approximately two hours of good strong breeze and sailed until it died and we had to motor along the coast.  We did see one lonely dolphin working for his lunch that didn’t want to come and play with Ariel. We had intended on sailing down to Castelsardo but with the beautiful beaches along this coast they call “Costa Paradisco” we pulled into the beach anchorage at Isola Rossa.

The water is as clear as can be and the fish were busy beneath us.  Several other boats joined us and we enjoyed the afternoon reading and relaxing.  The sea started to bring in a roll so we moved after dinner out to the small island promontory opposite Isola Rossa and spent the night.
