Moving west we left Pozzo and motored sailed nine and half miles around the rocks past Isolotto Municca into the bay Reparata on the east side of Capo Testa.

Beautiful anchorage off the three beaches which surround the bay with small pleasure crafts of all types coming and going all the time.  Jim was very pleased as he spotted an ice-cream kiosk on the beach.  In the afternoon we took the dinghy ashore for a swim and ice-cream.  The sand was just like Bournemouth and very comfortable to walk on although the water deepened very quickly for swimmers.  The coloured umbrellas were arranged in hotel groups and the public beach was busy from just after 8 a.m. until dark at 9 p.m.  The village is obviously very small with holiday homes around the bay.

Capo Testa has been quarried since Roman times and the fantastic wind sculptured rock makes the Cape easily recognisable.
