Distance run    47.6nm over the ground

This was a very hot windless day but at least we made good progress under moderate revs (1370 rpm giving nearly 7 knots) and we arrived at this anchorage with enough light to see our way into the atoll and then in between the reefs to a recommended anchorage.  Perhaps we were just hot and tired but it did not seem to have much going for it other than a secure place behind the reefs.  We anchored on sand in about 15 metres and spent a quiet night
