Having arrived a couple of days earlier than expected we used the time to “chill out” meeting up with friends at the Camden Yacht Club and around town.

The actual start if the Rally was as in previous years a meeting with presentations on the state of play of the Club, wrapped around drinks and canapés and dinner.  A very successful formula for the 120 or so people present.

Dinner was followed by a colours ceremony at sunset, Dock Master Barb Goss on percussion,

and at which I was prevailed upon to play – no kilt this year.
