Wow!  A 2^nd days sailing on a wonderful reach and in near-perfect conditions.

We threaded our way into Back Creek, Solomons Island and were able to anchor joining two other OCC boats.

The opening event of the rally was a supper held in the meeting hall of a condominium development further up Back Creek, wonderfully provided for by Sid and Rebecca Shaw.  We were able to meet new friends as well as friends made when we last attended the Rally two years ago.  We are definitely set for a good four days as we make our way in company to Annapolis.

The outboard is again not working with every appearance of it being the carburettor gummed up once more – the joys of ethanol, one of the bigger nonsenses inflicted upon us for dubious benefits, of any.
