The log shows that we sailed 60% of the way but as we were not quite sure where we were going we held back and followed Sid and Rebecca into Galesville.  When we were here in 2011 we moored in one of the marinas.  This time we were to have a BBQ in the garden of Lisa and Phil Friedman and anchor off their home on the Shadyside shore opposite Galesville.  Lisa is a cousin of Rebecca’s.  We were an early arrival and that gave us the choice spot to anchor which was handy.

The garden provided a wonderful venue where we could sit and watch the world go by.

Fred Hallet marshalled the singers into his perennial Barrel of Monkeys for a sing song

and I had my first public outing with the Scottish Small Pipes, with canine accompaniment.

Sunset was played on the full pipes and the evening came to a convivial end.
