During the night we once again crossed the equator – Hopefully two more crossings to go until we get back to the Caribbean.

Getting the timings for our approach to Singapore is important as the final stages must for safety and practicality be done in daylight.  The island of Mesanak fitted into the plan well as we were able to approach the southern anchorage (marked B in the Pilot) in daylight.  You would not wish to make this approach in the dark as there are all manner of constructions in the way.  We dropped anchor at 0910 having motored all of the way from Belitung in little or no wind.  Egg and Bacon rolls for breakfast restored the inner self after a tiring night.

One of the many things to avoid off the coast of Mesanak
