Kate and JR (John) arrived yesterday on time thanks to Virgin and
following the odd sundowner were ferried across the harbour, dry as the wind
had conveniently dropped away.
Elizabeth
had a willing companion for some morning shopping and we set off up wind to
have a look at Indian Creek, 4 miles or so to the west. The depth into the
more sheltered part of the creek seemed less than in the Pilot which was a
shame as it was empty. Our anchorage was fine for lunch but not overnight.
We therefore returned to Freeman
Bay, English Harbour
which was most certainly not empty but provided a secure anchorage overnight.
I was allowed to barbeque the proceeds of shopping in Guadeloupe;
pork chops and merguez sausages, great.
