Having tracked the Port Captain down yesterday afternoon and eventually located the Customs lady we completed immigration, returned the car, paid the marina dues and eventually left at 1115.  Destination was somewhere in the Ko Lipe Island area which puts us out of Malaysia and into Thailand.  We understand that the Thai authorities allow yachts up to 7 days to get from Langkawi to Phuket which will be no problem, to us as we wish to press on to get to Phuket well before Christmas. Ko Lipe did not look too inviting and rather busy so we headed a little further north to anchor to the west of and a mile up the island of Ko Adang.  There are occasional mooring buoys all the way up this coast but the one where we wished to stop was already occupied so we anchored in 16m and spent a quiet night.
