A short coach trip in the morning took us up into the Curota mountains where the beneficial effect of the previous boisterous night was great visibility with views from Finisterre to Cabo Sillero.  We then went on to visit the Mirador de Aguiño and returned to the Marina to sail to the very protected marina at Villagarcia, where berthing was very efficiently provided by the marina staff.

A leisurely afternoon allowed some recovery from the previous night’s sleeplessness.  A sangria party on the pontoon was generously provided by the members of the Lagos family who have been working so hard to make the Rally a success.  Miraculously nobody fell in the water despite the pontoon deck getting very close to sea level.

Neither of us were disturbed by the noise of the all night pop concert going on the quay – the benefits of shore power and air conditioning allowing hatches to be closed.
