An 08:00 departure from Yarmouth gave us a full tide to get beyond Portland Bill before we had the much weaker stream against us across Lyme Bay.  It was a shame that this had to be a motor but once again the wind was dead on the nose.  Nevertheless we made excellent time and took a mooring buoy mid-river at 19:15.

We had our first sighting of dolphins in UK waters whilst crossing Lyme Bay.  12 or more gave us a magnificent display for a good 20 minutes.  No photographs, we were too busy watching the show.

We enjoyed a wonderfully sunny and warm evening in this most beautiful of harbours.
