Despite a 0530 start on Monday morning the M25 conspired to provide a knife edge trip to Heathrow.  Mike Barry kindly took us and delivered us with time in hand for a leisurely breakfast.  An uneventful flight and then 3½ hours in a taxi saw us back on Caduceus which looked in good order despite sitting in very hot temperatures for the last 8 weeks.

All systems were checked and with a high tide at 14:30 Tuesday we were able to ease ourselves out of our temporary home berth and cross the Piankatank River to Fishing Bay, Deltaville ready for a prompt departure, not tide governed, for Norfolk on the morrow.  The dock looked rather empty without Caduceus and Plover, Chris and Bill having left for Maine the previous weekend.
