A short sail post lunch took us to Chatham Bay on the north west side of Union Island.

It is a great anchorage and sheltered, except for, as the Pilot Guide says, occasional howling gusts that hurtle down from the hills.  That and frequent squally showers supported the idea of sitting on the boat, reading and admiring the view rather than going ashore.

George and Janet may have come to the Caribbean to escape the UK weather, they have however arrived for a week of boisterous winds, mostly 20 knots plus, and frequent showers.
