Good morning or god evening, I dont know.We are
totaly exhausted here on board.
The autopilot gave up last night so we used the
hydrovane for a while but the windconditions have been crazy with no wind, lots
of wind, no wind, from all directions.... So we have been handsteering a
LOT.
Now we are motoring and as I turned on the
satellite phone to receive some mail a call came through. It was an officer
from Immigrations in Australia.
He told me I had filed for entrance with customs
but not with them. So if we come in to Australia we will be fined 5000 dollars
per person.
There is a solution to that he said, we can apply
through their website. As everybody is sleeping at home we have asked somebody
in Australia if they can help us. We are standing by for an
answer...
Other than that it looks like we will be in
Newcastle by midnight or short after.
