Yesterday when we where struggling with lines and a bouy in 14 knots wind, Ellinor said that with a boat this size it feels like being a mouse in cinderella, you know the ones that make anew dress for her. Well we made it over the sill in Falmouth Marina, just as the tide was high e nought and went down river to the entrance of Falmouth.
This mornig we set sail and went out a few nautical miles to clear the coast and went with the wind and waves towards Fowey. The waves were big coming in from the atlantic and the wind not as strong as promised. Top 18 knots bottom 4. At 1500 we entered Fowey River, spectacular! Went far up and are now berthed on a pontton. The dinghy went down and off we went downtown. The kids love the dinghy more than the boat.
