Yesterday we took off from the north tip of Fuerteventura and started sailing south along the island towards Gran Tarajal.
In the beginning the wind was great, then it suddenly turned 45 degrees and stopped, picked up again at 18 knots, turned 45 degrees and stopped, so it went.
The when it came with full force on the nose so we had to tack our way down. We had over 20 knots of wind but it was still 28 degrees celsius! Very pleasant. The sea that sprayed was warm so it felt nice but it took about the double time we counted on getting here. We entered the harbor in the dark, there was no comfort in being at anchor outside, the swell had picked up and no protection. We will stay here now and wait for the next weather window to go to Las Palmas.
