Started this morning 0800 from Plymouth, as we came out from a clear city with sun we moved into a thick fog bank.
Wind on the nose as we went out to sea. Lots of fishing nets to watch out for.
The wind picked up force to 24 knots in the gusts, but mostly 18.
Came out of the fog and into a new one. Approaching Dartmouth at 15.30 we came out of the fog and into heat and sunshine.
Marvelous. Pumped up the dinghy and got into town and had---- fish and chips
Planning on sailing towards Isle of White to pick up speed. We have been out a week soon and have not yet done 100 nM and we have 1000 to go!
