So we anchored on Isle of White on the SouthWest side just by The Needles.
It is rare that the weather would permit such a thing. Along the coast where we anchored there is supposed to be tons of wrecks. There is a rumour that an important income was "salvaging" boats that hit the coast. A prayer that the children would read every night was:
God, take care of my mother and father, and please, send us a ship tonight...
Well we made it and even passed close to The Needles overhearing a rescue of a motorvessel just by them.
Had a great sail with gennacker over the bay and went up to Poole. A long river cruise. As lucky as we sometimes can be, we just happen to stay in the harbour right at a big event with street performers and at night we could sit in the cockpit and look at great fireworks!
Our guests think we are great at arranging a lot of fun on the way...
The weather has so far been sun and plenty of heat.
