The fuel injectors have been to service.
To our big joy we have found two guys that can repair our windlass (ankarspel). Today I took it out and after a couple of hours the gearbox was taken apart. Our theory was right, a shaft have driven itself out of place and pushed the metal on the gearbox. But incredibly enough the bearings are still intact.
We have decided to deal with Whitianga, if everything works out with school etc we think that is the best place for us.
As soon as things are settled with the repairs we intend to sail along NZ coast down to Whitianga on Coromel Peninsula.
We feel well and today we have been worked on this and that.
We have bought a used dinghy to replace the battered one (but believe me, Ellinor wants to keep the old!)
