Sailing off early from Portsmouth we had a strong wind coming from the back.
Waves where building up strongly as we moved along in the very shallow part of the channel.
Brighton responded on radio that it was no problem to enter the marina.
As the depth rises to five meters just before the entrance the waves became monstrous.
Putting Salsa to the side of these waves mad her roll really bad and it was very very narrow to get in. Just inside we had a relief and smiled at each other, and from above came a huge cascade of water from a wave the crashed outside the pier.
What is it they say about sailing?
A boring day interrupted by sheer panic?
Now we will spend a few days here, going to London Zoo and celebrate Erikas birthday (7!)
The sun is shining over England!!!!
