A big honor was granted the crew of Salsa. Erika was asked to be a brides maid and Andreas to be best man on my oldest daughter Lisas wedding. Well Erika got excited, especially when she understood that there was some hair styling to be done. My little son, turning 6 soon did not show any sign of excitement. He looked very suspicious and asked me: -What does it mean? Well his sister who has seen some wedding on film (the latest was Saltkråkan where Stina cant hold tight when she is standing as a brides maid) tried to excite him -You will stand by the altar! -Why? -Like Stina and Tjorven in the movie! -That looked boring -But you will help Gustaf! -What? Am I a servant or something? ... No thank you 600 pages on A5... hopefully we can cut down some now. I have been editing on the screen a couple of times now, but Ellinor wants it on paper so she can read and make marks with a pen. I will read it once more and then it will be printed in 5 ex and sent to a few publishers. The article for OSKs magazine has been sent to us for approval and it looks real nice I think. Kids second day at school this week. They are good. They learn a LOT! We work, I have 3 more bookings to speak in Sweden in May. I have a thought about writing a book that could be an e-book, we can then publish it ourselves on Kindle/Amazon or IBook for Ipad. The thought is to make a book about sailing with children. We did not find much literature on the matter before we left. We also think there is not much written about the process BEFORE you leave. Next thing is if we should write it in Swedish or English. My English is far from good enough for that but maybe we can get help to check the language. In Swedish it is closer to the mind but we will probably have a smaller audience. Any thoughts are welcome. Also if you think there is something you would like to know more about, let me know. |
