It has been a very smoth ride, the only drawback is that our engine had to work more than the sails.
But we wanted to get going...
At night we where experiencing sea-fire (mareld), well that is magic of course, but suddenly Ellinor came up and told me with excitement that when she was flushing the toilet in the dark, there was sea fire in it too!
Erika and Andreas are really starting to explore the boat now, the weather was calm and that of course make it easy to play around.
The Nord sea is heavily exploited with gasfields, wind and fish farms. Heavy traffic and regulations keeps the sailor busy
Night shift in the cockpit, navigation and safety is routine,
We skipped France and Belgium as this part of their countries did not attract us
Always a winner under way, to open korvkjosk (hot dog stand)
Looking into the sea, we actually saw a lot of dolphins and some sealions in north of Holland once we cleared the industrial areas
Navigator at work, the iPad is a great complememt with far better details in the maps than C-map in our old Raymarine.
The iPad is housed in a watertight (down lower corner right in the picture) container that we can attch by the steering wheel.
If we go by motor we have monkeys in the rig
