It is just after 6 in the morning, it feels cool in the air, probably around 24 degrees C. Andreas and I are the only ones up. Andreas keeps building on a robot. We are in the robot era now. Robots, robots, robots... Actually a soon 7 years old story telling is very much like the old ancients gods we had in Sweden and Greece (sure in more places). The reason I find these stories so boring is that whatever superpower they need to fight they will have it. It seems like the days are poring like a water stream, it is already February.
As you might guess we are at the mooring, the forecast was wrong, which was good, but it seems like New Caledonia got the hit instead...
We choose to stay here since there is another cyclone forming that we do not really know where is is going.
Ellinor is doing yoga with some other boat mates, they use a restaurant in the morning before they open. The place has an outdoor part with a ceiling so they are in shadow.
I would say that Ellinor is very much into yoga now, reading books about it and practicing hard. Erika is working hard with her school, and she enjoys it.
I have been fixing the dec, the disaster part is totally gone now. Then of course I had to take the outboard apart yesterday, trhe dirty fuel here is a big problem for everybody.
Even when we filter it we seem to get dirt in the carburetor. Having a four stroke engine is even worse, we are one of the few having that. But now I know how to take the whole carburetor apart, clean it and put it together again. Might have a job when I come home! Yesterday evening the generator gave up due to overheating so Im already dressed to work in the engine room this morning. Hopefully it is an easy problem to fix...

Not much of an adventure to write about right now. But we love it here. The people are so nice that we keep saying "how are we going to cope without all this spontaneous smiles and openness?"

Book I recommend:
Reykjavik - a book about the meeting between Gorbatjov and Reagan- what a thriller! The end of the cold war. Especially for those of you who are old enough to remember the cold war era.
