As you can tell from the name we are in French territory- have to get the French flag out and change it with the Vanuatu flag. It is strange when you raise a flag from Europe so far away from home.
Making our way between the Islands Wedrumel and Island Vauvilliers, the sun is shining on us and the wind still blows at around 16 knots from ESE. So we have it much on the nose with our speed of 8 knots, sometimes even more.
We gave up trying to hold Salsa back and even reefed she wants to go on, good old Salsa!
It feels really sad to take her to Australia to sell her. But we have to be realistic,
we blew one year away in the Pacific and it was worth every day!

Now we are outtuning the malaria profilax, and the atmosphere on board is tyred and relaxed.
Everybody is reading or playing- interupted by the food issue which Im responsible to provide.
We have to be out 3 days before Ellinor gets down and starts to do her share.
Today I made a salad with tomatoes, fresh green onion, small beans, fried thin slices of sweet potatoes and a vinegrette on top.
Delicious if I may say it myself.
The other night we saw the film "Forks over Knifes" and that inspired- if you want to know more: forksoverknives.com I believe you can find recipes and more about eating a "non meat diet". Reason? Look for yourselfe if you want to be old and healthy...
