Today we reached the point where we have made half way to Marquesas.
This is going to be celebrated with fishburgers with fresh bread, Coca Cola and a carrot cake as a desert.
The sun has been shining all day, almost no waves and almost no wind. We have our Gennacker up, with a big ice bear, and that pulls us in the light wind with a speed of 4-5 knots.
As the forecasters said the trade was going to loose its breath and it will pick up speed again the day after tomorrow.
The bad news is that at the same time 4 meter waves will come up to our lattitudes, they are a result of the low pressure that hit south of us.
We are not fishing now. Just trying to eat fish. We might try to make fish balls tomorrow to have Andreas eat more fish (Erika loves Mahe Mahe).
Nothing much is happening and that is good news I think.
Erika is working on an essay in school, the task is: "This is how my little brother should be brought up" (she always has opinion on how we deal with him).
