We had to leave... sad, but the wind is forecasted to come from the North and there is very unstable weather predicted.
As you can see on the pictures, there are dramatic clouds in the background, the air is very moist.
Our ocean is the hottest ocean in the world right now, so the likelihood of a hurricane grows strong...
The sailing home was truly a working day. The wind went between 10 to 24 knots all the time.
And we really wanted to keep speed to get home before the wind changed to Northerly.
We also sailed with big black clouds and very poor visibility. Thanks to the radar we could keep up with weather and islands.
We med one ferry during the whole day.
If I try to explain to you what it feels like to be at anchor on an island all by yourself and how it is to sail around.
Imagine you had the Stockholm archipelago all by yourself, 26 degrees in the air-30 in the water. Visibility up to 10-15 meters and coral reefs.
Not to bad?
I think that knowing this is coming to an end soon we really appreciate it now...
