Hallo everybody, you are so sweet asking us when we
are leaving, tomorrow saturday we are clearing out at 0900, after that we will
have friends Vanessa and Mark on board waving good bye , and then it looks like
we are leaving with the tide out the river and head for Tonga.
A deep low is passing right now and we will
hopefully ride on its back and get downwinds for the first 3 days, then is
becomes calmer and we hopefully can keep up speed and get to Tonga in 5-6
days.
Today we have been in Whangarei alla day, chasing
parts ( some screws for the engine and a circuit breaker for the windlass, I
managed to burn it when I was solding one of the foot switches on deck, if you
sold with an electric gadget, make sure you turn off whatever you are working
on).
To chase down the circut breaker it took about 7-8
visits in different supply stores...
Now we are back onboars in Madson Cove marina and
it takes half an hour to get into town with a car, talk about being on the
countryside!
It is a very beautyful marina, very new, but
totally isolated.
Today you have 2 choices, look at someone you
dislike and force yourselfe to think something good about him/her, or just think
as you usually do...
