If you ask the kids to get rid of salt water they just jump into a bucket with fresh water... and then it is hard to get them out Under deck there is a less funny scene. No worries, nothing is broken, this is pure maintenance. Few know that urine and salt water make the best limestone. So a marine toilet that uses sea water will get a layer that is so thick (this was 3 mm) and it destroys all the functions at the end. Our aft toilet needed some love so I have taken it apart. This is the dirty job. When you are done, you just jump in the ocean. Then we put all parts in Hypo Chloride Acide to free the metal from the extra layer. But the hardest part is to get everything apart. Took me half a day today. When Im done I will sandpaper all parts and repaint them in white. Put it all together and we count on everything will be so smooth you never knew you spent a penny... |
