Today 2nd of May we leave Licata in the morning.

A new sailing season have started. Heading for Spain for the next winter, not exatly sure where we will end up but hopefully it will be Cartagena.

Winter in Licata has not been so nice compared to the winter we spend there in 2016/17. We are disappointed about the management, the service and the activities such as BBQ, Happy Hour and how the marina staff were behaving.

Anyway, leaving this morning was really nice, beautiful weather and we felt so good, starting the new sailing season!

We had really good sailing, 11/2 hour of motoring, 9 hours of sailing!! All sails out, really good wind and speed, blue sky but a bit chilly. A lovely day reaching Pozzallo late afternoon.

Now we are anchored in the bay of Siracusa.

Sailing from Pozzalla was as good as yesterday. A bit of tricky winds at one time, so we needed some help from Mr Perkins, 3 hours, and then we were good again.

At anchor, nice weather calm sea and we had a very good lunch at our favorite place.

Hot water onboard. First time this season, we had a nice shower in the sun, in cockpit. That was long time ago since our last shower outside!!

Now a glas of prosecco in the afternoon sun! Sailing life is good again!!!
